Karen lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. She’s active in her local WordPress meetup group and has helped to co-organize WCABQ 2011, 2012, and 2013. Karen is a Happiness Engineer at Automattic and spends her time helping WordPress.com customers and hiring people for the Happiness team. Guga was a pioneer in creating WordPress content in the Brazilian market. Creator of the website TudoParaWordPress, from 2008 to 2023, he produced over 500 articles teaching how to use WordPress in various ways. Founder of the WP Rio community, attended the first WordCamp Brazil in 2009, organized the first WordPress Meetup RJ in February 2011, and actively spoke at WordCamps and meetups in Brazil. Organized WordCamp RJ 2014 and 2015, served as a mentor in the 2016 edition, and WordCamp Brasil 2025. Also volunteered for WordCamp US 2017. Worked for WordPress.com and Liquid Web/StellarWP, now looking for new opportunities.
